Winsome is a 4th gen American mini Nubian (67.51%/32.49%) Doe
Born September 6th, 2016

Shes a black and red buckskin with frosted ears, and super sweet tempered! We met her at a local show and even got to milk her a bit. She became available a couple months later, and our daughter Sarah highly recommended we add her to the farm! her udder texture is to die for, and teats are perfect for handmilking!

She will make a VERY nice cross with our boy Royal for 5th gen kids.

Show Quotes:

At just a week old, Winsome was entered in the MDGA 2016 Fall Vshow.
In a class of 14 doelings, she came last. But the judge did like her and still had nice things to say:

“The doe kid in 14th place just needs time to grow and develop to compete today.  She is to be commended for her long lean neck and length of body she is showing for her young age today.” -James Oller

Winsome entered first ever PNWMDGC Summer Sensations 2019 Show,
She placed 2nd in all 3 rings behind a Soaring Hearts Doe.

Later in 2019, as a 2nd freshener, Winsome was again entered in the MDGA Vshow. In a Class of 9 VERY competitive Senior Does, she came 8th in ring 1 and 7th in ring 2:

“Eight over 9 for her dairy strength being wider and stronger throughout.
In mammary she is more capacious with stronger support.” -Pat Hendrickson
” Mammary System with more extension to the fore udder” -Travis Cockburn

We will do Milk Test with Winsome and continue to show her in 2020
to see what she can really do!
